I'm new to the CO draw and how everything works, but what do you think the new point banking will do to the odds? Or is hard to tell? I was just trying to run some numbers to see what my odds might be.
Everybody has their own guess about point banking but keep in mind that its suppose to be a temporary measure to curb "point creep". This year will be a crap shoot for sure. I only put in for tags that I felt like were worth all the points I had. Otherwise I just got another point...
Next year when the stats are published from this draw I suspect they will be considerably off the mark from previous years.
On the high demand units that require a lot of PP's. IMO, I don't think the numbers will change much. Guys who have been waiting for 15+ years will keep waiting....and hope many others will jump ship and give up some points and do the point banking.
Something to think about if you are a resident. If you have 10-12 points, you could do (2) Ranching for Wildlife Bull Elk hunts on a lot of ranches.
