CO unit 6

Does anyone know about how much of unit 6 is above the required 10,000 ft. for the early rifle hunt? I have a concern that even though the tags are limited, everyone will pack in to the same area to get above the required elevation. Any help from someone with a bit of experience would be greatly appreciated.

I did a little elk hunting there last year (it was in unit 7 which you can hunt in the Rawahs) and ran into 1 other bowhunter. He was there the week before bowhunting and saw a couple rifle hunters. It was around labor day I believe. If you pack in a couple miles or more and then hike further from camp I am sure you will find yourself alone. Keep an eye out for sheep and respect the bowhunters.
