I didn't expect to draw this year. Nearly got caught by the NSF but the bank floaded me for two days. It was a miricle but the wife saw the NSF notice today. Now I'm in the dog house. Hard to explain a $799 bill to the wife. Let a lone the taxidermy bill that I hope will come with it.

San Juan LE Archery Elk - 14 points.

Started applying in 1986 and this is the very first tag I've ever drawn. Believe me, 25 years is a long time to wait your turn, even though some of the pain was self inflicted

Needless to say this is going to be one incredible year. I've got the whole month of the hunt off and plan on spending 3 more weeks on the mountain this spring and summer!

I dont know how this is possible you should have got a bonus tag did you have 14 going in or 14 after?? My brother drew I am guessing a bonus tag with 13. which means all applicants with 14 should have drawn. If you had 14 and didnt draw i am guessing there is somthing up with your CC or somthing!

No tags, or letters in the mail yet.

I think they send the tags after the letters, but I have never recived a SUCCESFULL letter before. So I don't know for sure.
However, I will be getting that much anticipated letter this year!!! Told my wife to watch the mail closely.

I plan on FRAMING that one

I drew the muzzloader Book Cliffs buck tag at the hunting expo, and the Wasatch archery bull tag with only 2 points!

I'm headed to Vegas to see if this luck will last!

I drew southwest desert archery with 3 points. I cant believe I drew this hunt with such little points. I am excited to see what the hunt will bring. If anyone has any suggestions for my archery hunt it would be much apreciated.
