Book Cliffs Elk

Just drew a boof cliffs muzzleloader tag and dont know much about the area, does anyone have any good advice?

Yeah, join a Hunting Forum, contribute, and make a few buds, long before you draw a tag and come to it looking for info.

You'll probably get plenty of help!

PS: Since you're new on MM, check out the search feature. Search both the Elk and Utah forums for the Book Cliffs. There have been tons of posts on that unit in the past. And PM some of the guys that have had it before. Sage is right though, I've probably given 2Xs as much info as I've received. Good thing about your unit/tag, folks don't get to hunt it very often so they will be more willing to help.

Myself, most quality, LE type hunts are OIL so why not help?? But my regular Co elk unit I hunt 4-5 times every 10 years, no way.
