Just wondering if anyone had any info on these units I'm booked for an archery hunt 11/25 - 11/30

No info on these units, but I would sure practice shooting with bulky (warm) clothing on. Don't want to hit your coat with the string when that big boy walks out! And that time frame could be 80 or 0 degrees.

I second what Jason said but actually nice deer can be found in all 3 of those units. It all depends on what ranch you are hunting. I'm sure if you are using a outfitter, they should have some good ground. I've lived and hunted in 104 & 105 for a lot of years and it's all private land. Some places get hunted hard and others don't, so hopefully you'll be hunting one of the places that does't get a lot of pressure. I hope you enjoy your hunt and please let us know how you do.

Thanks guys, I'm booked with Kiowa Creek Outfitters, I its as good as they and their references say

I've shared camp with Dan three times. Archery deer 2001, unit 105(was actually Pikes Peak Outfitters then) Rifle deer 2002, unit 105 (became Golden Eagle outfitters) and then elk muzzleloader 2003, unit 85 (Golden Eagle outfitters). What type of hunting will you be doing? treestands, spot/stalk? What type of deer are you looking for? 160- 200 class?

It will be mainly treestands from what I was told, a 200" deer would make my day but I'd be perfectly happy with a 170". Also bigway2 did you have any luck? I'd appreciate any info

My '01 hunt was late archery. That hunt was TOUGH. The hardest I've been on. Not physically, but mentally. To sit in a treestand all day for 5 days was like some sort of medieval torture. To stay mentally focused for that long was impossible. It can get very cold. Be prepared to be able to shoot dressed like an eskimo. Also make sure you can pull your bow back after sitting on a cold stand for 8 hours. It's alot harder than you think. I never even pulled my bow back on that hunt. So I went back a year later with the rifle (early) and took a high 180 class (7x6), last day, last 10 minutes. I was lucky.
Three different outfitters have had that ground since 2001, but the one constant is Dan. He grew up there and has the "in" with the ranchers. He knows the deer and the area. I don't know Matt Teter from moses.
The deer are there. Lots of 160-170 class. Not as many 180 and up as I would have hoped to see. Only one on my archery hunt and one on my rifle hunt. Both were high 180's. Accomadations were first rate. Stayed right in Dan's house, and the food was good.
Go prepared, be patient, and stay FOCUSED ( those deer can be on you in an instant and you WON'T hear them coming). You might just come home with one of those hawgs. By the way how much $ are they getting for that hunt now? Did you need a preference point to draw the tag?

Bigway2, Thanks. I'm going on LO Voucher(included)because by the time I booked apps had to be in, so I did point only prices are 3500 They told me to be prepared for long cold days but I'm normally hunting at home(PA) at that time dak till dark in treestands and sometimes in can be very cold
