So, since the application period is now closed...where did we all apply in Nevada for this Fall's mule deer hunts?

LAST EDITED ON Apr-20-06 AT 00:00AM (MST)[p]121, I notice you didn't start us off.

1st choice is 101, through 108 muzzleloader. Last year was my first time muzzleloading and I loved it. Not to mention the good deer I saw last year. fatrooster.

033 late, 111 late, 06 late, and 194-196

Dont expect to draw...probably just a "point building" year. But I wouldnt pass up on any of these if the NDOF was so kind as to offer a tag!

Good luck everyone!

All rifle. I would have liked to put in for a couple of muzzleloader seasons, but my work schedule killed that idea.
It looks like everyone is putting in for some good areas. I put in for 033 like everyone else, but I hope you guys won't be disappointed if you draw. The area has really declined. Last year I counted over 400 head of horses just from the main road and the range was in very poor condition. The only deer I saw were on the refuge, about 20 does. A couple of my favorite areas had burned to a crisp and all the bitteerbrush and sage is gone; only a little grass and some weeds have grown back. There's still some big bucks there but it was pretty discouraging. Be prepared for a tougher hunt than in the past.
