Bull Still packing

I saw a rag horn bull still packing his antlers. does any one have any clue why he still would be packing this late in the year? I saw sevral other bulls getting some bone on their heads. I'll try to get a pic poasted.

I saw 2 spikes on Sat. still packing. Other bulls aleardy had 6-8" of new antler though.

It really seems late for some this year. Some have 8"-10" already started I'm guessing you will see some in Velvet
after archery season too.

Here in N/Idaho, I saw a small bull packing a week ago. Last sunday (may 9th)I saw a small whitetail buck still packing, feeding with a couple other bucks that had fuzzy growth. Weird.

Those little bulls don't start to grow as early. The big boys are really streching it out already. I know of one incredible bull already to his 4ths. Wish my tag was for his unit though!!
