Its Official - Pahvant Premium Limited Entry

I just received my tag for Pahvant Premium Limited Entry from the Utah DWR. It took 17 points to do it, so I'm real excited. I'm planning to start scouting in July/August. Its a big area, any recommendations on general areas to start scouting? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Just start following the Doyle posse around. I'm sure they would be happy to show you all of the biggest bulls on that mountain. They really are great guys.

I haven't spent much time on the Pahvant, but I've heard rumors that the bigger bulls hang out low in the cedar trees to avoid the crowds in the more traditional Elk habitat. There's alot of low country, so this isn't much help. You'll still have to get out there and find them. Good luck, I wish I was half as lucky as you.
