cuddeback cameras

Heres the deal, I bought a couple of cuddeback cameras. Before they arrived I bought 4GB memory cards. When the cameras get here the directions say you have to use a 2GB. If this is true I am out $100.00 bucks. Has anyone tried to use the bigger card or maybe able to explain why it will not work.

I'd be very skeptical that you "have" to use 2GB. That makes no sense.

I know the new HD cards don't work but I wasn't aware of the 4 GB issue.

From what I know everything above a 2GB card is considered a High capacity card. So if your camera is telling you to use a 2GB card, it most likely means that it doesn't support the newer HC format, which would allow you to use the 4GB and up cards.

I had the same issue with a point and shoot camera, it doesn't support the HC format. My video camera has a little HC logo on it, and I use a backup 4GB card in it.

Check your owners manuel there should be something in there about what format it will support.

I have 4 of the cuddeback NoFlash, and nope, 4GB cards don't work in them (and I am out for the cost of two as well)
