when you find out that your hunting season isn't exactly going down as you'd planned due to draws that just didn't work out...
Does anyone else get that feeling?

When I didn't draw, it's always a letdown, but that doesn't stop me from going. Just to a different place and at a different time.

I always start planning next year's hunt before the last one ends.

That why we Pheasant hunt in Nov just in case we don't a elk or deer tag LOL

I get more satisfaction out of helping out another than for myself and you can't beat the look on their face when the job gets done........I already have several members lined up to help....come on September and rutting bulls!!!!!!

I have about a two week letdown in July, when I realize that all the draws are over and I have to plan my Fall around what I actually have in hand. Then the anticipation, planning, and scouting begins and it is another great year! :)

hey do the next best thing go hunting anyway. Take a camera or just go hunt. Hunting is hunting Killing doesn't always have to be included.I have been on more than one Safari in Africa never killed anything there yet. Killed plenty everywhere else. Its all about the mountain, camp, food, and company and seeing the animals.

Nets are for fish!!

SOUTH DAKOTA is the only way to fly for pheasants.
I have heard Mexico is pretty badass too, But at least the local aren't trying to kill ya up in SD yet LOL.
