"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

According to the website, the results will be up in 1 hour at the website. No email here yet so I figure that can't be good.

Congrats Gator and the other lucky ones!

Got my bow tag and friend did also. We are off to NM for a great adventure and hunt.

Just found out that I draw unit 17 archery 3rd week. Being from Idaho I could use some help on this unit. Any advise would help. I have killed lots of bulls in Idaho and looking to up my luck with a bigger bull. What are the odds of arrowing a 350 class bull in this unit? Should I stick to the national forset ground or is there some good bulls on state n blm ground. I am not afraid to get after it on foot or bike. Any info would be great. Thanks again lance.

Very good if you know what you are doing.Depends on the weather alot too.Stick to the forest land and be prepared for steep and altitude.Apache Kid Wild. is great place.

Hank4elk, thanks for the info. Like I said of you ever come hunt Idaho let me know and I will return the favor.

No problemo highmountain,I hope to hunt it for elk & deer someday.Lived in MT in 70's.And always wanted to spend more time in ID.Have some buddies who moved up there.I'm 150 miles from 17(nearby in NM) and will poke around some more and ask some locals about it and let you know.

Thanks hank4elk, been looking on maps already and it looks like great country to hunt. Anyinfo you could get me would be great. I worked in (nm) 2 years ago and met some great people that liked to hunt. I am emailing them also. I really like doing the reasearch on the units I hunt because it just adds to the hunt. So pm me if you can and we can exchange numbers. If youever come hunt Idaho I will return the favor for sure. I hunt some great areas with a lot of elk. Thanks again.
