Late Pahvant Help

Well I was lucky enough to draw an expo tag for the late Pahvant elk hunt. We typically hunt Monroe during the archery season so I'm familiar with the quality of elk that hang out in the area, but not way familiar with the Pahvant unit. So I'm looking into places to go scouting this summer, mostly just getting familiar with the country. Any suggestions on places the elk hang out later in the season would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

archery1,
Have you never applied for a unit you didn't know?
I don't see any issue with drawing a unit you are unfamiliar with. And I see no problem asking for a little help...Isn't that what MM's is about, hunters helping other hunters?
Well at least sometimes! lol

I have to defend archery01, I think it's my cousin and he's giving me a hard time. Anyway, any tips on areas I need to learn the terrain before November. My goal for scouting will be to just learn the terrain in areas that the elk will be come late November, I realize the elk will be moving at that time of year depending on the weather, so any help will be appreciated. Antlerrick? I know you know the area??

Thanks for the input thus far, I've got a lot of info from some of you on MM, it's good to know the hunting community sticks together. Any other tidbits will be welcomed, but I'm thinking things are looking good, now I just need to spend some time hiking the hills and getting familiar with the country. Wish me luck.

Good luck
Do look in the archives here on mm for more information from pass years.
