>A plus taxi henderson nv

The taxidermist should change the name of his business from "A-Plus" to "C-minus".

quadfather, There is always one smart ass I guess I should feel honored that you burned your 4th post on monster muleys talkin trash. You know i cant understand for the life of me why guys like you get on this forum. I been on this sight for years and enjoy talkin hunting and have really met some stand up guys helpin me with some pointers on a unit and such and with an attitude like that buddy and smart ass remarks all i can wish you is the best of luck.

I am not going to give the generic response "great mount!" when it is clearly not. Does that elk look like a live animal to you?

Another douche bag with a smart ass attitude that keeps his profile hidden.I seen the bull at Ricks place and it is an awesome mount.

Great looking bull...I drew a tag for late hunt in 111-115 221 and 222 cant wait I hope its like your or bigger.........

The quadfather should change his name to peckerhead. Its about as life-like as its gonna look coming out of a wall! There is a retard in every crowd bub, thats a great looking bull. Im glad i was there when you killed it.

Good bull, good mount. Congrats. Enjoy it for the rest of your life.

With a name like "Quadfather", what do you expect? Keep your negative opinions to yourself when somebody is proud of their animal. I'm sure Quadfather has killed much bigger bulls from his much loved ATV and done a much better job of mounting them in his ATV garage.

Nice bull.

"Quadfather"
That is pretty low! There are just somthings you DO NOT do and one of those is pick on somthing someone is proud of and worked hard to get! Pretty dang low.

("For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9")

First off: Nice bull and great job.

Secondly, I wouldn't worry about giving quad any advice. He is only after attention and has nothing better to do with his time. No doubt in my mind, he has been here before and just decided to get a new name in order to entertain himself.

Hard to see detail in photos but it looks correct to me. Pretty bull and a pretty mount ! congratulations ! Quad - no matter whether you are right or wrong there are times when you should just keep your mouth shut. This is one of those times. Chip

Man that is a beautiful rack - great fronts and love the dark colors and the. The mount is not MY most favorite but I think it is well done and is far from the criticism it has so unjustly received. And really all that matters is that you are happy with it.

I think what Quadfather is seeing as a "bad taxidermy job" is probably just some less than professional photography. The second pic down is probably the best photo, the rest may have some lighting concerns that may have jaded Quadfather's perception. Either that or Quadfather is just a loud mouthed idiot who never learned that if you don't have anything nice to say then you should keep your mouth shut.

Probably a little bit of both.

Nevertheless he is a great bull. As soon as I saw him I thought - "NICE example of a 340 bull" and was pleasantly surprised to see I was close! Now, why can't I do that on the "Guess the score" contests??

Good job on a great hunt and a great trophy.

From personal experience, Quadfather is a peckerhead, but he never talked smack about the rack, just the taxidermy. He is a stickler when it comes to anatomy.

The last time you sawed a bull rack off the skull, I bet you had to skin the ears back first before you could get the saw in the there. Just saying.

One of these things is not like the other:

I'd be careful walking by that mount. I think it might be alive... it could chimp out, and bite your face off!

Get a life Quad! That is a dandy bull anyone would be proud to have that mount on there wall.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-25-10 AT 03:09PM (MST)[p]I guess there is only one thing left to do ,Quadfather needs to post up some pics of his mounts ,his success photos and show the rest of us what a good mount looks like!!!Being that he is the expert in the feild of Taxidermy.Lets see'em schitthead! ! !

Great call. Let's see 'em Quadsister.

One issue might be the fact that the bull appears to have been a very early season bull, and therefore doesn't have a big shaggy mane. Not the taxi's fault.

Post the first picture of this thread along side of the life bull picture they sure look close. But Post up your mounts and we can compare them Or are just a Bagger that talks alot.

Dang, you fawkers are just brutal and misguided and waaaaaaaay out of reason. Dunno how much longer I will participate in this forum. Here are my thoughts about this thread:

1) The OP wasn't crediting his taxidermist....only his NV bull. OP......It is indeed a great one bullslayer......congrats you whopper-whacker.......I'm headed there in November for my first one as a non-res. I'm looking for a toad.......but will leave thrilled with a great 342 specimen such as yours.

2) The OP didn't say diddly about taxidermy quality, only you responders decided to misjudge his post and to judge this instead. He wasn't advertising the mount......only the rack and his happiness at tipping over that 342" bull.

3) We alll need to post some interesting discussion items on this forum........to get rid of the critical, sorry-ass posts we've made here.

4) The taxidermy on the OP's bull does blow and is a D- level.................but please remember the OP wanted focus on the rack size of HIS BULL......not the D-taxidermy.

Mount looks like could turn at any moment. I have seen elk in this pose and suppose to each his own if wants a bugling to the ceiling mount. Not for everyone.

Asking one more time....Founder can we get an "Ignore" button on posts so that we can permanently hide all responses from any poster we decide is wasting our time? Tends to take burr out of the saddle if don't have to put up with reading routinely weak or disrespective posts.
