I say this same thing every time this subject comes up, But I would seriously rather hunt the open bull unit rather than anthro. I don't even go shed hunting or anything down there anymore its got so bad. I had a cow tag 2 years ago and hunted the whole hunt and never even saw a cow on legal ground. Anthro has taken a nose dive from hell. So I say no. But I have to admit there is nice bulls show up here and there once in awhile but they are so far and few between anymore its sad.

I'll second that opinion. Anthro USED to be a premium unit ~10 years ago. DWR has ruined it. They should shut it down for a few years and let the herd recover. I doubt if they ever will, but that is what needs to be done.
I would say that if you are lucky enough to find a mature bull, you are doing pretty good.
