I have first right of refusal for a any legal weapon land owner tag for this unit for the Oct 1-14 hunt... anyone know if it is worth spending money on? Any insight on the unit would be appreciated!

Are you sure the land owner tag is good for Oct 1-14 season. My cousin has a ranch in the unit and all the land owner tags over the years have been for the late hunt. All the ranchers around him has also been for the late hunt. Elk numbers and quality are down from past years. Still a fun and good hunt for 280-320 class bulls. A few bigger. Good luck.

There are way better elk hunts out there for that kind of money. I'd pass

Better be careful - yes there are four LAP tags for the early bull. Odds of drawing are poor and the results are not out yet so I wonder just what he is selling you. Also - it is illegal to sell the tags. When you are caught the rancher gets kicked out of the program and both of you get ticketed.

I have heard that you can't sell Land Owner tags any more as well.
