Hey guys my fourtenn year old just drew a cow tag for this area.I have talked to operater before.Im just wondering if there has been any other hunters hunted this unit before.And how it went.Also what time of year does he pick usually.And what places to hunt and what not will be helpful.thanks in advance guys.

Well i have one negative hunt,Come on there has got to be more hunters that have hunted this place.

You can see elk in Nov-Dec from I-80. I can't imagine it will be hard to find the elk and the way much of that country rolls, I think it should be easy to get in close enough for a shot. If you do not get an opportunity to shoot then it seems like the operator is not working well enough with you.

I guided deer hunts of this place for a lot of years, your not going to have a problem getting your elk ;-)
