Pavhant - Help!

I have the Premium Limited Entry tag on Pavhant this year. I've been doing some scouting and getting familiar with the area. I've found some nice bulls, but don't know if I've found the "one" yet. I've scouted both the north and south parts of the unit but I'm at a loss as to which end I should concentrate on. I won't be hunting the archery hunt but I will be concentrating on early rifle. My job is going to keep me traveling out of town for most of the next two months and I may not get a chance to scout much more.

Any advise as to where to spend most of my time? I know a number of MMer's have experience on the unit, and I soure could use your expertise.

I can drive from north to south and vice versa, but I hate to spend all my time traveling between hunting areas rather than hunting.

So please, a little info would be sincerely appreciated.

What, you put in for a hunt on a unit you have no idea about!! Why do people do this I mean you must actually have a life outside of hunting with a family, job, and grownup responsibilities and just can't hang out on the mountain all day with the rest of the Utah hicks.

There, now hopefully you won't have some mullet wearing redneck come on here and ask you why you put in for a unit you know virtually nothing about.

lol now that is funny back to the original post you should have no problem finding the bull you want with all of that time to hunt during the rut.especially on that unit as long as you know the layout of the land and find the wallows

I also have a Rifle tag this year. I have found bulls everywhere I have looked. I don't think you will have any problem at all finding a 350 class bull. If you want something bigger, look in places that are harder to access. Find the water holes, and you will find bulls. As hot as it is already this year, those bulls wont be far from water.
Good Luck, and make sure to post up your success.
