Looks like mineral rock. Can buy at Cabelas. Be sure to check applicable game laws, though.

Outdoors look at the name of the original poster on here, TROPHY ROCK. I don't think he buys it at Cabelas. I believe he sells it to them.

I was pricing it at IFA last week. Man the rock sizes have gone down and the prices have gone up. That salt mine must be playing out or something.

I used Trophy Rock last year but sadly two spots I put rocks in I had dang cattle come in and DESTROY the rocks and the surrounding area. Made me pretty sad to see the area trampled.

I did have some great success with two other locations with both elk and deer coming in, but more elk than deer. I wonder if the deer didn't like it much.

Question about the photo - I see you've broken up the large rock into small pieces. Is this more effective than having just one rock?
