Any info on any public land on unit? Has anyone in the past had any good luck? any info would be appreciated

Good luck with that, unless you are local, no one will even talk to you up there. I ended up calling the g-warden and luckily fell into a depredation issue. I tried offering to work for trespass, pay for trespass, trade for trespass.
Once 'they' found out I was from the 'city', door were slammed in my face.
