PIW Charges

Don't give up hope if you get PIW charges. PIW showed up on my credit card yesterday, then today I was charged for deer tags. PIW charges are not necessarily the kiss of death.

Wow, hogliver! That's the first time I've heard of them charging the PIW and tags fees on a different date. Congrats on the tag! Hope you get a good one.

Thanks. Any tag is a good one to me, but I'm hoping its 231 archery.

You're only charged PIW fees if you were unsuccessful in the general draw. If you draw a tag you're not put in the PIW draw so you shouldn't be charged the extra fees.

I just got a $10 charge from NV, is that my PIW charge?

That would be too much to ask. In any event, the 2 $10 charges remain on my card as well as the $60 charge, which could only be two deer tags. Can't wait to find out what the deal is.

I guess early PIW charges are not the "kiss of death". I had a $10 charge 2-3 days ago and just now got a $300 hit. I wanted deer but guess I will be hunting antelope. My guess is it will be a little hot down in the flats around Aug. 5th.
