Hi All. I haven't been on MM much for a long time. (Sorry to those who sent me PMs. I'll respond to you shortly). About a year ago, my brother and brothers-in-law and I decided to build a house for my parents. So over the last 10 months my nights and weekends have been devoted to that project. Well, we're pretty much finished and tonight we hung my bull, Charlie in their living room. I didn't have high enough ceilings in my house or a place suitable for a bull of his caliber. My pictures didn't come out very well but I hope you enjoy seeing him.

Taxidermist was Dan Wegener of Logan, Utah. He has since sold his shop and moved to Idaho. A good friend and former boss, Mike Bolan gave me a free mount that he won at an RMEF banquet. Thanks Mike!

I took this bull in 2007 on the San Juan unit in Utah.

All around....that is some VERY impressive work, right there!

Mother Nature's bull.
Your hunt in taking it.
The taxi that did the mount.
The house that you guys built.

Ain't teamwork a great thing?

Thanks for the nice compliments. It has been a fun project and I'm glad to cap it off with a great spot to hang my bull. He is 57" wide outside and 45" inside spread. Those wide points made for a fun packout. I took a few tumbles with his head and cape on my back...

That bull looks "heavy" No he looks great there and is quite the accomplishment. But the real impressive thing is the house. Your a damn good son to do that for your parents, but knowing your parents like I do, I can honestly say there isn't a better, more honest, 2 good people on the planet than your folks. They are very deserving of that great house and the great kids they have raised.

Looking forward to seeing it live and heading out again this fall.

Thanks for the memories

That's a fine bull, I've admired pictures of it in your parent photo album.

Sure a wonderful thing you've done for your parents, building them a beautiful new home. Your parents are tremendous people and have earned the love respect of many alike, absolutely the salt of the earth.

Congrats,

And what a very nice hanging spot it is. Congratulations on the bull and the new home for your parents. You did good twice.
