I took these pictures in late june. This bull had some growing left to do, and should end up as a pretty good bull. My son (andymansavage) has a Utah LE elk tag this year and it will be the first LE hunt for either of us. I am asking you MM pros what class of bull this will end up being....I think this is the type of guy we want to run into this fall with the muzzleloader in hand?

Great pics. I think he is plenty big enough if you get him within smokepole range. Real good bull.

Thats a good bull for that unit, its not the biggest you could find but if you pass that one up you might regret it later. I might have some useful info on that unit if you would like some help from the locals, just pm me.

Great bull, definitely one you would not pass on......give Andy my best and tell him if he need some help, I am available.
Thanks,
Kelly

I am lost, I didn't see where he mentioned what unit it was in????

Edit: Nice bull BTW. :)

I have an Olympus E-510 and was using the 70 - 300 telephoto lense with a monopod. He was about 120 yards out!
