Like the other lucky tag holders, I'm starting to do my research. I will have three days of scouting this summer and I want to make the most productive use of my limited time by avoiding dumb mistakes. I've studied the maps and have some ideas. I need to hear from someone that has actually had boots on the ground or at least driven into some of the country. I haven't been in the unit except to fish at Sunnyside. I would like to bounce my ideas off someone familiar with the area to make sure I'm not starting out on the wrong foot. Once I have a starting point, I'll contact the biologist for his input as well.

If you think you can help me out, shoot me a PM.

Thanks!

Jerkee - Thanks for the info. I will definitely reprioritize my scouting areas based on your input. I was looking into that country as a secondary area.

Mrsafari - I appreciate the return phone call. Nice to hear from someone with that much time in the area. Hopefully I will be able to avoid the crowds.

I have a friend that drew the rifle hunt and I was wondering if you guys knew anything about unit 131 & 132? I also put in for the muzz hunt but didn't draw. I can't wait to hunt the area this year. I have herd this is a good unit to hunt. Thanks

Ryan.

SierraFool:

Do you know anything about 132? My friend was thinking about scouting that area since most of the deer are taken in 131 and wanted to get away from the crowds. You cansend me a PM if you want thanks Ryan.

Thanks SierraFool. I plan on spending a full day in that area this week. I'll post some pix if I can any good ones.
