Anybody have experience with this area? Drew it this year for first rifle hunt.

i have been up there before for cow elk hunting..i think better if bring horses! we hunt on urraca canyon and got cow elk! just walk on old loggin road to the end of road, hunt there and around..we saw some nice buck.
last year we went and my 14 years old cousin missed cow few times..he got cow elk fever! we did see some doe, few fork, nothing big.

GOOD LUCK!!! I live a few miles from Uracca and I wouldn't hunt it! Lots of UPHILL, few animals since the ranch across the hwy put up a high fence and cut off the alfalfa!
