Howdy new guy here Iam looking to get my 2 daughters their first deer and i was wondering if anybody has any info on perrygin? How was the winter over there?Any tips on how to hunt the area?Any help would be great

If your daughters draw that youth doe tag, trust me, you will have no problems finding deer. The wildlife area has a decent road system that will give you plenty of access. I have only hunted there once when I drew a late tag back in 2001.

lots of good deer in that unit they had a tuff winter for fawns Hope you put in for a antlerless tag for the girls the dead line was yesterday.

If you want your daughters to get a deer head to NE WA where they could shoot an antlerless whitetail, there are lots of them up there.

If you are set on that unit during the general season I would hunt up high. Find a Forest service map and look in to the beaver lake area, Starvation area, ect. Good areas for that unit. I would not overlook granite creek as well. good luck with it.
