My bro-in-law has an archery tag on a Utah LE unit and we have a trail cam up on a wallow/waterhole. We have had 3 different bulls come in and wallow once each over the last week. On Sunday night (september 5th), I sat in the tree stand over this particular wallow and had a new 6-point bull (not a shooter bull-probably in the 250 range) and 5 cows come in. I got some great video footage of the bull wallowing, chasing cows, and tearing trees up for about 15 minutes. They are starting to get after it!!
To answer your question - I am not sure there is any pattern to how often bulls wallow. I think they wallow when they are near a water source and hit multiple wallows, but it is not daily on the same wallow in my experience.
