East Canyon

I wanted to know if anyone has been up around Parleys Canyon or up East Canyon and if the elk are even rutting yet, I was wanting to do the extended archery but didn't know if next week would be a good time? Any feedback would help, thanks!

Good luck on the hunt, but if anyone puts anything positive here you can expect an extra 50 or 60 guys to join you in that little area next week......

Just make sure you know the boundries and the Public from the Private. There is a lot of private up there and "East Canyon" res is not in the extended unit and neither is the WMA just so you know.

Was up there last night w/ my son for the youth any bull talked to some archery hunters and heard they pulled a 5 point out on Tuesday, but we didn't see anything. They are pretty much pushed to the private land is what i got from talking to other hunters
