My name is Justin Perkins and I am the hunter who killed the bull. He is an eastern nevada bull

well, well, Mr. Justin Perkins; it looks like you got yourself one heck of a nice bull there.... To say the least!

That thing has got some very nice lenght. Looks like you made a good shot on him as well.

Stud bull for sure.

That's an awesome bull! Congratulations! What's the story bout him would like to read how it went down!

outstanding Bull, Please post up your hunt story we would like to here how the hunt happen.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

This bull was found fourth of July and was patterned hard for eight straight weeks before being harvested on Sept3.I hunted him nine days before I got my shot and made good on it when it finaly came. A double lung pass through at twelve yards ended this summer long jorney. This bull was my third animal of the 2010 archery season, and after taking a 76"antelope and a 165" muley I can tell you it was the season of a life time. I will post score on "LEO" my bull as soon as his sixty days is up.

Looks like a 111 bull???

LAST EDITED ON Sep-14-10 AT 05:55PM (MST)[p]8x8 with 60" main beams. He went about fourty yards after the shot and piled up for good. I had this bull at twenty yards two days prior to killing him and could not get the shot I wanted. When I finally got my shot at twelve yards I had a hell of a hard time getting the cams rolled over on the Elite Judge. Once I got anchored in everything else went away and I blew the arrow through him. Coming up on this bull I could not believe the lenght of his beams, even after watching him all summer I was still way shook up when he went down. I need to thank everyone who took part in this hunt. We all spent alot of time away from our families to get it done and I'm gratefull for thier help. With deer and elk clients on the way I can only hope our luck holds out and we can finish with a great season.

Great bull and hunt! Congratulations on a dandy elk and season. 2010 will be hard to beat for sure. I can't immagine being that close to such a trophy. Great job and thanks for sharring.

First I must say this is a very nice bull...

I noticed your website says "average bulls 300" to 400" taken each year and we have a success rate of 100% for archery on bulls"???!! 100% success rate means one thing to me...

Justin ~

Are you a guide for this outfit? Does this outfit lease property they hunt on?

this will help clarify a couple things for me...

take care

I am a guide for this outfitter and all the animals you have seen on the website are killed fair chase. They are the result of alot of hard work and blistered feet. That includes my bull.I spend more time in the hills than most and am rewarded by having happy clients with big animals. We hunt nothing but public land just hunt a little deeper than the rest.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-14-10 AT 11:07PM (MST)[p]As I said Justin very nice bull. You answered my questions, thank you. I was just wondering how an outfitter can have 100% on archery? The only outfitters I know that have that success rate are high fenced, not saying your's is. Is this a limited area hunt? Im from OR and have never hunted your state. congrats again on this fine animal.

as for you AZHUNTIN you shoot your mouth on this site way toooo much. you told someone not to long ago that "you wouldnt want to come to my house and meet me, punk". all over some pee brain comment. Go join another website where comments like you make are welcome...BTY Mike hows business? your website bringing you lots of clients? I see you tell LOTS of people on here that they need a guide to "get the job done". Is your business to refer folks to outfitters so you make a commission?

Muley Man, all of Nevada is limited entry.People are lucky if they draw a tag in 10 years and then there is a 10 year wait before you can even apply again to build bonus points. Most areas are quality hunts with lots of trophy size animals. It is not uncommon to look at 30-40 bulls a day in the areas of Nevada that I have hunted in. During the rut the elk of Nevada are usually easy to call too.

Justin, That is a great bull, the stuff dreams are made of. Let us know what you get when you run a tape over him.

I just went on the website and it said "last years guided hunts were 100 percent success" Nevada doesnt give a whole pile of elk tags as say Colorado does so I could personally see having a perfect season with 10 or less tags total in the whole year.

WOW,WOW,WOW
Great bull I like to hear how everyone is getting a but this year in home state of nevada. I also got a tag after 12 years I will be hunting late season 111-115 and 221 and 222 rifle. Can I ask you where you hunted the great bull and did you hnt by your self or did you have a guide...Love to hear more about your hunt. Thanks for great pic and congrats again and great SEASON....................

270 I am a giude and I hunted alone with the help of my brother. The bull was killed on the MT Moriah willderness. Lots of big bulls in all of the units you have to hunt though.Dont get stuck hunting just one they all have thier ups an downs. Moriah is way rugged country and you should arrive in great shape if you expect to kill a good bull.

Thats for tip I am looking forword to going there been waiting for this tag for long time maybe not as long as some people but long for me. Can you tell me what you charge for a guide I get alot of mail for guides wanting me to call have called a few but times are really hard and money is not as easy to come. Anyway anything you can help me with that would be great...Thanks

Nice bull, I love the big bulls that are taken in the fair chase areas! Great Job! Be sure to let us know what he scores.

I thank everyone for all the great comments about my bull.I will post some more pics soon.

That's one great looking bull, I'd be dang proud to shoot one even close to that, and it's even more rewarding after you've put in the time you did on getting him on the ground. Congrats! Can't wait to hear an official score.
