Well, I figured a picture was worth a thousand words, and I'm not patient enough to type out a long story. But if there were a story on this hunt, it would start with a long horse ride on sketchy trails through narly cliffs. An early winter storm with winds that seemed stiff enough to pick a horse off the ground. We had a black bear in camp and a Grizz on the trail. A few screamiong bull elk were music to our ears. This one was taken with a long shot through the lungs. Good times had by all in the saddle and around the camp fire.

Beautiful country, nice bull long horse ride and a Pack job at the end of your trip does it get much better then that.
was it camp in trip or one day around about.

We spent 4 days hunting and two days riding in and out. It was a great time and I hated to see it come to an end.
