This is why I put in for a Nevada tag every year, This pic is from 2004 and we also found them in July of 2005. We are just waiting to draw an archery tag. No luck again this year. I thought you guys might like the pic.

We don't have deer like that in Nevada. And if we did, we aren't gonna tell anybody about it!!!! All kiddin' aside, those are some GARGANTUAN BRUISERS. What part of Nevada do they live in? You don't have to tell me the unit, just a section of the state. Thanks for the pictures. fatrooster.

i hope you are right. i drew one of the archery tags for this year in the se corner of the state. nice pics!

Yes these bucks live in the desert area. Not one of the more popular units in the state. You just have to spend the time and gas money to find bucks like these.

That is one of the coolest photos i have seen in a long time, simply amazing bucks!

I love that the photo is really grainy, sorta gives it an "authentic" scouting picture feel.

WOW!! Just WOW! Those are definite big-timers. Congrats on finding a honey hole. Get that license soon, and keep the location a secret.

If you need a partner with a few points, please let all of us know. I'm sure you'll have hunting partners coming out from under rocks.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-18-06 AT 08:58AM (MST)[p]We have three of us putting in each year, the last time one of us drew was 2003. Then we found these bucks the next year. It's all part of the game trying to get a tag each year, but even if we do there is never a guarantee we will get a chance at one of them. But we would sure like to give it a try. Just being able to see bucks of this caliber is worth everything even if we never get to release an arrow.

The cool thing is that those bucks have survived a few breeding seasons to spread their genes around the area. Good luck, and I hope you do draw a tag eventually. Note to self, next year I start putting in for Nevada!

The buck on the left is the widest of the two. It might not look like it but it's just the way he is standing. After watching him for two years his left side is 11" outside his ears and his right side is 9" outside his ears. The bucks we have taken from this area have all had close to 22" tip to tip on the ears. So if you do the math we all fill he is over 40". The buck on the right is about 6" oustside the ears on both sides 12 + 22 =34"

I will see what I can do about getting the videos, so you guys can see it. But to tell you the truth I have to be real careful about showing any land marks. Im sure you can't blame me for that.

Here are some more pics you might like the three Nevada bucks are from the same area as the first pic. The Utah bucks were both taken from the same area in Utah. The Utah archery buck is 30" wide and scores 198 4/8. Needless to say we have done OK the last few years

Just hope those bucks are still alive by the time you draw a archery tag. LOL Those are the type of bucks that Dreams are made up of.

That Nevada 2003 buck is a stud. He looks really tall. Congrats on being so successful. I'm sure you put your time in. You deserve nice bucks like that.
