idaho unit 73 bucks

Was wondering if anyone has spent time in the unit and hunted there. any thoughts, i heard that fish and game patrols heavily for off road atv activity, writes tickets and removes offending atv. i have mules wondering if a person can get in to some country hard access no trails, rimrock, bitterbrush, i just ordered maps and planning on a 4 day wekekend for scouting soon, was just looking for some starting points, access or?...........

Theres better places to take advantage of your mules. Theres still a lot of legal roads in the unit. Russ

Like Deerlove mentioned, good luck getting away from the roads. Roads and many hunters abound....probably more than the amount of animals themselves. With a short season and 4 point or better, your chances of getting a decent buck are equal to those of a top-notch road hunter! Good luck if you pursue it though!
