Her first bull. Drew with only 4 points. It was hard to convince her it wouldn't be as hard as the back country Montana hunts i had taken her on previously. 270wsm with a youth stock. 197 yds.

Awesome bull...!!! Beautiful picture... I'm always jealous of anyone who's wife gets out in the hills and hunts...

Wow!! Super bull with absolutely great character to his horns...I love the way the beam curves down. Can we say Whale Tail??? But looking at her pic (no real s**t-eating grin there), she looks kinda disappointed it wasn't 1) either a bigger bull, or 2) not as hard of a hunt as Montana. Or maybe she wasn't happy with the guide......LOL!!!

P.S. - Or maybe she just realized she was gonna have to get that horse outta there somehow!

Congrats, that's a great looking bull. It's good to see the aspens are turning, finally. I hope there are a few big bulls left for me on my ML hunt. PM me if you have any info on where to find them right now.

Thanks for sharing what must have been an awesome hunt. My wife has hunted with me for many years. You can't beat a great wife/hunting companion. Congratulations to both of you.

Before you die.....Take time to live

That's one awesome bull. Those youth model stocks are the greatest for ease of packing in somewhere. Love my .243 WSSM!

She hates that picture. Says it is to "posey" Honestly it was one of about 163 pics I took. Plenty with the smile and all. I just chose that one for the way the light hit everything, and didn't have my fat a** shadow in it. She was getting pretty tired of staring into the rising sun. She had a blast. Nothing like the November pack trips in SW Montana. The morning before the opener we had them right there screaming 75 yds from us. She had never seen anything like it. She's all ready talking about making sure she puts in for there at the expo and after her waiting period.

Congrats to Mrs. Tope on a beautiful bull wapiti! I would wish you luck on the rest of your hunting,Tope, but I know that you need no more luck to continue your reign as Dr. Death.

Beautiful bull and wife. Such a nice area. I got to help chase a few around during the archery hunt in that area.Congratulations to both of you!

It was great to meet you up on the Monroe. We had a blast on the mountain. Congrats again on a great bull.

Tell her great job on a great bull! My wife had the archery tag and we came close on a couple like hers but just couldn't seal the deal. We had a blast chasing screaming bulls though, they were definatly going off that week. For three days after we got home she kept saying she was hearing the bugles in her head! Glad the weather held up for you, it was perfect for us and cool to watch the trees change before your eyes every day.

It is an awesome mountain, good luck on the expo tag and thanks for sharing the pictures!!

?The bugle of the bull elk echo?s through the pines, the north wind moans her lonesome lullaby, he hungers for the freedom of an eagle as she flies?somewhere beyond the great divide?

Thats one dang good woman you've got there, congrats on the bull!!
