AZ 34A whitetail tag

Got myself a WT tag for the Dec 15 to 31 hunt. Have never hunted this area before. Is there any one out there that can start me in the right direction for scouting.

Roy, I would buy the coues deer book by Duwane Adams, it has unit by unit general info and then get on www.coueswhitetail.com and ask around, there are a few guys there who drew this tag and may help. The late hunt in 34a is a great tag and the unit has produced some monsters. AZGFD has a little bit of info on the unit on their website. I would get the national forest map and scout the unit over. Thanks for the info Allen, had planned on getting maps this Monday coming. Will be making a call to the AZGFD, they have been really help full in the past on some other hunts I have gone on. I haven't hunted white tails since I left Maryland 24 years ago so I'm really looking forward to this hunt. Thanks again. MOSSBACK
