Dutton Muzzleloader Info Needed

I have drawn a Dutton Muzzleloader tag and have now got important work obligations that will limit my time on the mountain. I have planned on hunting the bottom end of the Deer Creek and the Deep Creek drainages, but I also planned on cooler weather to hopefully push the elk down into there. I worry that the heat has kept the elk up high in the thick stuff and out of the cedars. I have also scouted the Hunt Creeks and Prospect. All of my scouting was early, so it was just to learn the country. Does anyone have any info as to which area might produce better results? I will be on horses so I can be very mobile. I have the first week to hunt so I hope that I can get it done in that amount of time, but any information would be helpful! Thanks!
