It's True!
Surveys are in & for every LE Thunder Stick Bull that hit the dirt this year there were 3.7 more wounded that limped off in to the Timber never to be seen again.
Guess that keeps the Condors & Buzzards fed?
Before ya all get PIZZED!
Admit it,there was a higher percentage of Bulls wounded by the Thunder Stick crowd!

Not Harpin on Thunder Sticks, the Ethical Thunder Stick Hunters hung their Rifles after the first hit & that's the way it should be,had friends it happened to this year,it's the others boasting/Bragging they hit anywhere from 2 to 6 Bulls that thoroughly Piss me off!

Oh,and before you all start your BS with me,I seen an Thunder Stick hunter in an LE unit this year try a 1,775 yard shot,WTF is up with that?
This JACKASS shoulda been banned from hunting for life!

OK,I'll STHU now!

(Ya,I know it happens with all weapons!)

GEEZUS wet_boot!

Show us your 2010 Bull will you?
Don't tell me they weren't tearing it up the last week of your hunt!

Any of you FeatherFlippers ever consider drawing the 'Any weapon' tag & packing your Bow?:D

I love not acting my age,
Damn I love my NASCAR race,
And Hell yes I love my Truck!

Lol just Razzin ya Bopper!

With all the featherflippin bashers this year I felt my life may be in danger if I show it. Ill show it when I get some time.
Yes they were talking and the little pizzcutters had the cows. Big bulls were still not showing there mugs and the cows were not in heat. Still a good hunt and saw a few good ones.

Didnt want to wait 20 more years to draw the any weapon. If I did I would use a rifle. just wanted to get er done while there were still a few good bulls around. After this years wound rate, we will just find dead heads

I dont want to disapoint you but it only took 1 arrow. I will work harder next year to use my whole quiver. }>

Absolutely. If I were ever lucky enough to draw an expo tag for a rifle elk hunt, that would be the way I hunted it. I think that would be the most fun hunt possible. It just take too long in the draw to do it that way. Have to play the odds.

one moist boot, Is this the thunderstick survey that you saw!

Days scouted=30 minutes...online..google earth,MM
Days road hunting in the field= 1.9 (had to get back to church)
Bulls tagged=1
Bulls wound=4.7
Cows wounded=2.3 (since were the only damn state to rifle hunt the rut on every draw unit)
Shots taken=18 (would be 20 but two rounds are still rolling around some where in the pick up)
Avg. Entourage in the field= 12
Avg. Natural Light cans left on the mountain=62 (two 30 packs and two tall boys for the drive out of town)

OK,I'll STHU now!(Ya,I know it happens with all weapons!)

Long live feather flippers they've only been doing it right for thousands of years!!!

Dogshedd,

Yes that is some of the survey but there is more. Here is another part of the survey...

Question- Did you sight in your rifle before the hunt?

Hunter Answer- Hell no, I sighted it in back in 1997 and havent touched it since, so It must be on.

Question- Did you wound any animals on your hunt?

Hunter answer- Did you expect me to go look for blood after I shot??? They didnt drop so I musta missed.

Question- How many days did you hunt?

Answer- I shot him the day before the hunt started to get a jump on everyone else. so 0 days hunted during my hunt.

Question- What time did you harvest your animal?

Answer- between 2:00am and 2:45am

Question- How did you see the animal in the middle of the night?

Answer- An F'ing spotlight! Duh

Question- Overall are you happy with your hunt?

Answer- I will let you know after I get rid of this terrible hang over!

Funny stuff right here. Sadly there is probably more truth to it than any of us know!

Thanks boot for that post. Now hopefully b-bop with realize what a moron he is when he posts up the crap he does. Nothing positive from that guy-ever! Just apathetic junk!

+1 Id give it a go with my bow. If I didn't get lucky with my bow Id just pick up the rifle and go shoot one on the last day with my .270wsm
