AZ Elk Hunt Gear Stolen

So, here is the tally of all my gear stolen: 1 150Qt ice chest, 1 pop up blind, 1 tree stand and 5 trail camera's.

On the afternoon of Sept 20th, I went to sit a dirt tank. Only to find that my pop up blind and trail camera were stolen. As I stood there wanting to twist the head off of the punks that did this. I heard a bull bugle, then another and then a third. Soon I was standing next to a heavy horned 6x6 that gross scores 386 5/8!!

I hope the pencil dic## that did this are reading, because I have a hunt in Colorado in November. And I would really like to kill another 200" Mule Deer.

Thanks for all the support. Really can't figure out what some used blinds and cameras are worth the trouble!

Great Bull Todd!

I don't know what it was but stupidity seemed to be at an all time high this year ( or maybe seemed like it because I haven't had a tag in several years ).

I was in 7W and some of the things we saw..........
A) Guy puts his camp miles off the main roads smack in the
middle of a meadow/flat that had 30 cows and 10 bulls using
it.
B) Guys parking vehicles right on water holes and then walking
all of 50 yards to sit in a ground blind.
C) Two hunters who hit and lost 4 bulls before finally
recovering the 5th bull they shot. WTF!
D) Guy pulls in with the biggest toy hauler known to mankind
and parks it within 1/4 mile of a 360+ bull that is chasing
cows the night before the season. Unloads all his best sand
dune toys and goes a huntin.

Great hunt but kinda glad it's over.

I had my travel trailer stolen on a 3C hunt. Wasn't even my hunt, was helping a friend. We had two camps set up on opposite sides of the unit and hadn't been there in two days. Came back to camp and trailer was gone. Unbelievable!

Congrats on a monster bull!!!

I can relate on getting your stuff stolen. I had someone slit open the back of my pop-up camper and steal nearly everything in it while I was out hunting on my San Juan Elk Ridge hunt.

It's painful, but in the end of the day just stuff.

If you think about it, with all the gear we bring with us on these hunts. There is thousands and thousands of dollars, just sitting in camp or in our trucks when we are out hunting.

I guess, things are changing and a guy just needs to understand it.
