Arizona 7E Lost Archery Bull

Hi Guys,

I hunted hard for 13 days in 7E on the Arizona archery elk hunt. On the 13th evening I called in a good bull to 22 yards. Unfortunately, I hit him in the shoulder blade and got half penetration on my arrow.
Tracked him all day on the 14th day (final day) with very little blood. Jumped him twice in heavy cover but never got to finish him. Very disappointing!
The bull is a 350-360" clean 6x6 with good width. His main beams distinctly tip up in the back. His left shoulder is broken. He was shot with an orange & green fletched ACC and Muzzy MX3 broadhead. Last time I saw him the arrow was still in him.
Bull was last headed southerly just east of Hall Tank (near Indian Flat). He should still be in that vicinity since he traveled 500 to 800 yards after being jumped.
I would be incredibly grateful to anyone with any information about finding this bull.

In my above post I made an error. I meant to say that the bull was headed southerly just WEST of Hall Tank. He crossed the road just WEST of the tank.
Any help or info. would be greatly appreciated.

Steve,
Sorry to hear about your bull. I was just there for my boys youth deer hunt and we saw a wounded bull. It was limping pretty bad with a left front shoulder injury but it was a long way from where your describing. I will be there for the Oct bull hunt coming up as you know. Call me.

Thanks MlyCrzy & Rod,

Nothing yet but I will keep you posted.

Rod, I will call you tomorrow and we can discuss what you saw. Hopefully, you got a good look at the bull. My bull has a pretty distinct rack. Especially with the main beams tipping up in the back. Not sure that he could have made it very far from the area where he was last seen, but elk are incredibly resilient.
If anyone tags this bull on the October hunt coming up please let me know. It would be nice to have an answer and closure.

Thanks again,

Steve
