Just wondering how many of you will be amongst the Pumpkin Patch for the General Bull Elk Hunt?

I'll be in it,just not a shooter in the Patch!

I'll be in the mix on the any bull. Never shot a bull so it should be fun. I've found a herd that has a couple spike, a raghorn and a herd bull that we haven't laid eyes on because they are in some really thick stuff.

Im hopin it aint no pumpkin patch where i will be im not sure there are many other people dumb enough to go there. Although i have ran into a few tards in my day. I wont be huntin though just tryin to get a buddy on a bull.

Good luck everyone.. I will be sitting back and relaxing this weekend. I will be wait for the rifle hunts to be over before I go back and try take a bull with a bow...

Heading up to hopefully fill my 13 year olds cow tag along with mine on the Cache...bought a spike tag just in case, got to fill the freezer! Had him close with the Muzzy last week but couldn't quite seal the deal!

Usually hunt the archery but the wife drew a LE tag this year so I held off to help her. Hopefully we can find a nice trophy cow for the boys first big game harvest, I know numbers don't matter but we are hoping for at least a 14" spread between the ears ! (not sure what the BC score is for that!) Can't wait to post the pics if/when successful!

I know there will be a bunch of "pumpkins" to choose from...maybe get a hay-ride in as well!

I'll be one of the rare Utah hunters that doesn't hardly see any other pumpkins, and there's a good chance I won't see any Elk either! Might get lucky though......

Won't be amongst them, but I put a buddy of mine on a 1x5 roaming around the Wasatch. Hopefully I'll hear some good news on Saturday afternoon. If any of the other MM'ers drop him, post the pics up please.

I'll be in the mix but not until Monday. I'm sitting out the opener to let all the tards have at it. I usually kill my bull later in the week anyway. Be safe and remember that Deseret does'nt care if you kill a 350 bull on the boarder. LOL.

I went to Dutch John and Red Canyon Lodge about 1630....WOW!! you should see all the campers and pumpkin suits. 500 4-wheelers too!! I'm starting to wonder if having an early and late hunt to cut hunters numbers in half on each hunt wouldn't be a bad idea?
