1. Do not cross washes that are running.
2. Bring Chains

I'm hoping no one got hurt. If no one got hurt , than thats some funny chit right there!WOW! I'm going out on a limb but I don't think chains woulda helped much lol...

Wow! That will be in the back of my head when I'm over there for the first rifle season..Scary stuff!

Dont have the story just one that is getting emailed around the basin.

But I would say the wash was probably running when the driver tried to cross. Then he probably got stuck. With the water running through the sandy wash it acts almost like quicksand.

Brian - Honey Bucket????? Not sure what you mean there.

These trucks are plentaful in the basin. They haul the water that comes off the gas wells. The trucks take the H2O to a disposal well facilty to be injected back into the ground into a different formation.

30,

The "honey bucket" is a slang for Sanitation Disposal. But yours sounds better as I know what you are talking about with the H2o waste and re-injection into ground elsewhere.

Too bad, that wasn't you posing on the rig was it?

Brian

No was not me.

Just an email I got that is being circulated in the San Juan Basin oilfield.

Also have another where a Haliburton truck drove through a guardrail fell about 40 to 50 feet on Navajo Dam. Right on the spillway.

He was lucky he went off on the lake side. The other side it would have been a 500 feet drop into river.

My brother and I have 2C Muzzleloader tags for next month. Guess we need to bring a boat instead of an ATV?

This is in the wash that seperates 2C from 2B.

Just good advise -

DO NOT CROSS A WASH THAT IS RUNNING

If you do I will be hunting the muzzleoader season and would be happy to take your picture.

I hope they finished burying that big rig. Make it easier to get across the next time it runs.
