Colorado 35,36 muleys

Plan for the lots of orange you already know about and the worst weather imaginable. Roads can be very messy almost dangerous with a little rain or wet snow. A 4 wheeler is the best to get around on the forest service roads if that is the case, otherwise chains and 4 wheel drive are a must. Should be lots of deer!

And enjoy the fact that there are 600 less tags for 3rd season than there were last year.

Should be a good time

Lots of private ground! And the Colorado river runs along
much of the northern border of 35 making access very difficult!
Some of the roads are very rough and if you get much snow they can
be impassable! As anywhere else if you're hunting for a big buck, it's very difficult! Most hunters camp low (in fact not a lot of good camping areas available) unless you stay in a motel. If you're
planning on hunting high it's advisable to have a chain saw! Blowdowns are a regular! GOOD LUCK

Thanks for the replies. Used my points last fall and starting over. I'll be getting maps any day and need help on where to start, camp, etc. Difference's between 35, 36? Private vs. public? Quality of bucks one unit over another. Thanks, Fred
