I have a 5A late archery hunt beginning Nov.12th. I have hunted elk many times during the rut where I could hear them bugle and I could bugle back but I am wondering what strategy to employ in mid November. Obviously the rut will be over and I am wondering if elk need to water as much once the weather turns cooler? Will the bulls still be hanging out on the Rim? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
