LAST EDITED ON Oct-29-10 AT 12:11PM (MST)[p]Congrats Lisa! Was waiting for you to post the rest of your story in the hunt challenge. The video is great except the potty mouth! Just kidding! Congrats again on a great bull and memories!

Thanks fellas....yeah, the 'wowie wowie' thing still makes me laugh, I really have NO IDEA where that came from!!

But 'twas hilarious after the fact.

I ate there back in 2008 loved the food and remember looking at the wall of death while I ate. Congrats on so many succesful hunts.

Bob, it is always a pleasure and privilege to help out others.

I really am just repaying my own help received over the years. Either way, it makes me feel great.

Hope everyone is enjoying the story, it ain't over yet!

Lisa

Yes we are enjoying the story! Thanks for posting up and congrats again on an awesome bull!

Cheers,
Pete

Ms. Pred:

How could it get any better than that? Beautiful big country, great friends, and a life-time experience! Can't wait to hear about your unfortunate rodeo (your telling of everything so far has set the bar to new heights). Now get rested up to tackle another big bull down here in Arizona (hope it won't be too anti-climatic!). Again, Lisa, huge kudos on your "dream hunt" ...

Wow, what a great bull for a very deserving hunter! Lisa, there's just one thing I can't figure out. The B&C clip notes there was a horse wreck, but that no animal or person was hurt. Where the heck were you? How the heck did you avoid disaster? Just kidding, of course! Glad to see you had such wonderful success, and made it through a hunt in one piece. Way to go!

Hey CA-

The disaster we avoided was that we didn't have to put down a horse and no one was taken to the hospital. I still shudder thinking about how bad it looked at the time.

Talk about going from high to low in a few short hours!

The story is a great read and the Bull is awesome.

Congrats again Lisa ..er... predator.

Sweet bull, great experience!

Thanks again for the Mountain Goat tip. My friends both hunted elsewhere in the unit but I'm keeping an eye on that area since my wife will draw in a year or so.

Zeke

Zeke, did they score??

Mrs. PleaseDear and I are planning a backpacking trip across the top from Leidy Peak, keep in touch and we'll plan on looking for goats on the trip.

Pred

They did score on a couple nice billys.

The Leidy peak area is the farthest eastern Uinta unit and not the area where we plan to hunt. Go west Lisa, go west! LOL

Have fun on your backpack trip. My wife and I backpacked into the Rocky Sea pass area and it was a great trip. We also packed up Rock Creek above Stillwater. That's our goat unit unless she switches areas.

She's getting excited about the prospects of actually drawing after all these years of applications.

Thanks,
Zeke
