Does anyone know anything about this bull? I was told that it was an Idaho kill this year and that it was a rifle hunt. Which I dont think is the case because the area they said it was from is not open yet for rifle and would be archery only for bulls. Just wondering if anyone knows anything!

that is one huge bull! i hope it doesnt turn out to be a high fence hunt. seems to be alot of those showing up this year. it would be pretty cool if this one was legit.

If he killed that bull during archery season.... He is the man!!! There isn't a tree or anything to hide behind for miles around. Judging by that picture anyway. Nice bull.

If it's the area I was told there is very few trees around there. Hunting sage with a bow is a challenge and well worth it! I prefer it that way myself. You can see for miles and with a good plan there is a chance everyday as long as you are willing to cover some ground.

Awesome bull. Check out the mass and especially those
fronts on that incredible rack. Congrats on an amazing
trophy.

ELDORADO

The email I received said Beaverhead and that it was killed on a rifle hunt. That is where I don't believe the email. That area is open bull during the archery, cow only during the muzzelloader and a controlled hunt for rifle that is not open yet. Also there was a big bull reported to be poached up there on october 16th. Though I really don't think(hope) that is the case with this one I just am hoping to find at more about it!

Guess that answers that! Just goes to show you that you cant trust one thing you get in your email!! Thanks for clearing that up!

Yep, the picture is right there on that web site. Anyone who brags about shooting a big one in a high fence gets an azz hat award from me...

Maybe he's not! By the time the email got to me its been through 100's of others and who knows how many times its been changed. I'm just glad to know the truth and glad it was not the one poached up there! Would love to find the guys that poached one though.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-30-10 AT 07:23PM (MST)[p]There hasn't been a wild bull that big in the Beaverhead zone in years, they don't live long enough!!

well, my reply #1 was right then. seems most of the big bull rumors this year turn out to be canned

Primos hunts on 2 of Ted Turner's ranches and a neighboring ranch. Total of about 180,000 plus acres but who's counting.

I realize that both pics on the website are photoshopped... But I don't think the website bull is the same one... Though I love the implication that it is... I laughed like crazy as soon as the website pulled up... :D :D
