I am still on cloud nine after the luck that I have had this year. On the opening day of the Elk hunt I shot a spike at 15 yards. What a thrill to hear 30 elk busting through the trees and to be in the right spot at the right time. He walked up the trail and stopped broadside when I let the air out of him. He went 40 yards and fell over dead.
The real reason I am on cloud nine is because of this buck we found on Saturday. No story at this time because possibly a magazine story, but here is some pic's for you guys
He measures 29" 3/8" wide and still waiting on a green score. I don't want to ruin the velvet. I'm guessing he is a 170 class buck
