Richfield Outfitters

Just heard through the grapevine and a local agency that there was an Outfitter in Richfield, UT that had a muzzleloader bull hunter on Mt. Dutton. To make a long story short, they were unsuccessful in their endeavors, so they decided to extend their season for a day in order to fill their hunter's tag. Anyway, they ended up killing a day after the season ended and then got caught. Is this true?? If so, what will the repercussions be for an outfitter to do such a thing??

Um felony for em both. Loss of guide license and all hunting priveleges stripped for life! If its true. There seems to be lots of mudslinging on here with very little truth. I hope you just heard a rumor.

I heard the bull was shot the night before(season was still open) and recovered the next day ( season was closed). Would like to hear how it turns out.

I am sure a guide would know better. I bet they where holding out for the best animal, last minute kinda of thing. My guess is a pack out a day after the season?

i live in the richfield area, i don't want to start anything, but, i heard the bull was shot the day after. hunter/guide of the guide didn't look at the for sure date of the end of the hunt (usually that hunt ends the day before another hunt starts, in which this year it did not!) just an honest mistake really. but with our agency they don't care if it was a mistake or not you're still gonna get fined! but they were honest and actually contacted the proper authorities and turned it all over to them. don't know how it all ended up as of right now. i'm sure it's gonna put a black eye on a few friendships. but i know the main guy and he is honestly a good guy.

.....depends on his tything history...

Has anyone heard the latest on this situation? Has anything happened. It has been a long time with no updates.
