hunted deer last year in 111 ,hunt up high , the boneyard is a good place to look ,lots of people go there ,most dont go far from the road,good optics and good boots will help you get to the deer

I bow hunted 111-113 in August this year.

Lots of deer and the higher/remote I went the bigger some of the bucks where.

It was hot and I had the full moon but I still put the stalk on a couple real nice bucks.

WARRPATH,

Try the east side of the schell creek range. Have had good luck in Piermont creek, basset creek, McCoy creek. Hunt high during the early season, very high!! All walking, no atv access here.

I hunted that unit about 9yrs ago and we seen alot of 20-26" bucks. We hunted the Kalamazoo area, right where the road goes over the top of the mountain. We parked on top of the ridge and hunted north up the ridge, we saw LOT'S of deer and bucks. Where ever there was a patch of Mahagony there were deer in it. Some friend's of mine hunted it 2yrs ago and they killed a buck 27" and 24" in that same area.
