A buck named "click"

My son took this buck this past weekend on an early season rifle hunt in Utah. We named him "click" because after it was decided we would take him, my son did not chamber a round in his gun and after taking careful aim he squeezed the trigger, you guest it, click. The buck bolted and we didn't think we would see him again. A few days later he got the chance to redeem his self as we relocated the buck and a nice 85 yard shot secured the bucks fate and put a big smile on my sons face. The buck is 27 1/2 inches wide and heavy.

Wow, your sons girlfriend hunts too, that's cool! Nice buck!

"Roadless areas, in general, represent some of the best fish and wildlife habitat on public lands. The bad news is that there is nothing positive about a road where fish and wildlife habitat are concerned -- absolutely nothing." (B&C Professor, Jack Ward Thomas, Fair Chase, Fall 2005, p.10).

Great looking buck! Its cool that your son got a second chance at him. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Congrats to you and your son.

Great buck! Though if I had to guess, that's not his sons' girlfriend... haha

Great looking buck. I think your sons nickname should be click. Not the bucks.
