Mt. Dutton Late Bull

I took this bull on opening morning of the Mt. Dutton Late Hunt. We located him a couple of days before the hunt started and got some pictures through my spotting scope. He scores 357 broken and has 10-12 inches missing on four different tines. I spent the entire week before the hunt looking around down on the Dutton and was able to look over about 60 bulls. This bull was the biggest bull we found while scouting and with a little luck was able to seal the deal opening morning. He has a little bit of character also, one of the G1's is missing a couple of inches and still measures 19.5 inches. With all the talk about how some of the elk hunts went in Utah this year, I feel fortunate to come away with a bull like I did.

Great photos - that blue sky is amazing. That is a great bull and sounds like you did what you needed to do to get it done. Just the fact that you got to look over 60 bulls would have made it a great trip.

Great looking Bull, Picking thru 60+ bulls during your hunt was pretty good times go to show that there is a few still left on the mountain.

I'm 99% sure that i have that bulls sheds from 2 years ago. I found them just over the ridge from where you killed him ill take a pic of them and post them.
