228 gross Saskatchewan Buck (pics)

A buddy took this buck last friday with his bow. It has a 201 gross typical frame that nets 196 after deductions and after you add in the nontypical points it nets 222 7/8 non-typical. This is his first buck with a bow and the first year he has bow hunted. I told him it is all down hill after starting out with this one.

Incredible buck!!! You Saskatchewan guys are spoiled rotten! Those things must be growing on trees up there. Awesome job on your bucks.

what a great buck , I was recently talking to a freind of mine ,when he said something to wich is coming a reallity, he said , "this is the year of the massive antler" every thing is there , all over , good winters, good feed ,great genetics,=great antler growth= big , big ,bucks . This early in the season , already this year, we are seeing some of the best bucks to date.Let this inspire you all to let the little guys go ,in hopes of a monster , good luck to all , Remember one thing though , a trophy is in the eye of the tag holder, good luck , god bless, and let all youre shots be true.

1 Big Deer! Congrats on a beautiful buck AND with a stick and string! Might as well move on to another species after that one!
