Vernon Deer

My buddie has a Vernon rifle tag and just wondering if any one has a archery or a muzzy tag for same area and what they are seeing? Any info would be appreciated. He has been out about six times and has yet to find anything over 28" is this about typical for this area?

I say if he see's a Buck even close to 28" hes a fool for not harvesting him!

Vernon has had some big deer in the past....my dad and i have been 3 times in the past 5 years. Unfortanatly it seems they have a slaughter fest in the area. Also seems like there is a lot of poaching going on. We spent 2 weeks there last muzz. season and saw a one giant buck before season opened and a few nice bucks during season, but nothing like it was 4-5 years ago.
